Christmas and New Year Church and Community meal

Christ Church and St John’s Radlett arranged a Christmas and New Year Church and Community meal on Saturday 5 January. All members of our church and community were invited and ages of those who attended ranged from 1 to 99, including two who celebrated their birthdays on the day.

A big thank you to the church families who arranged and served the meal. This is an effort to bring our church and community closer and reach out to all with love of God. We hope to arrange more such events in 2019.

Here are words from a card the Rector received after the meal:

Dear Javaid + Family + all your team

Thank you all so much for inviting us to the Christ Church and St John’s Christmas lunch on Saturday. We all very much enjoyed the delicious food, yummy curry, roast dinner, Christmas pudding and chocolate cake, as well as the fun quiz. It was lovely to meet new people as well as catching up with those we knew. We were very impressed with your younger helper in particular. All the best for a wonderful 2019.

Love, Susie, Dave, Sharon and Steve
